Amazing! I cannot imagine another shop that supports our troops more
than you do. You not only bring comfort & support to our soldiers, but
to those of us waiting for them as well. Thank you for all you do! See
you at the Marine Birthday Ball! Semper Fi

Hello from
the Sandbox! I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and
even better spirits I don’t know if you remember me, but I had the
pleasure of visiting your fine establishment a few times with my friend
Bill (Apache Company US Army), who frequents your place. I enjoyed it
tremendously – what’s not to love about a nice bottle of wine, an
EXCELLENT cigar, and a few pool games with good music and amongst good
friends? It is probably one of the things I miss the most about being
over here in Baghdad for the next year.
Life isn’t terrible over
here in Camp Victory…it’s more monotonous than anything else, really. I
have managed to make it out to some of the shops that sell imported
Cubans here. Unfortunately, the Cubans here are all quite dry, and not
nearly as awesome as the hand-rolled cigars I picked up from your shop.
A good group of the guys in my battalion have formed an impromptu
Cigar Club of sorts, and set up “smoking sessions” out here on Monday
nights. We build a deck, threw some camouflage over it, and added a
table and some chairs and an ashtray – voila! We smoke cigars and play
poker or just shoot the breeze, and it is the one evening in my week I
have to really look forward to. It’s one of the few nice moments we get
over here between the hours when we’re at the grind. It’s amazing how
many people out here get excited about getting to smoke a cigar!Anyway,
I’m sending an email to you guys to see if I can buy some of your
awesome cigars and a small travel case to ship to Iraq.
Respectfully, Desiree Rincon SGT,FLARNG US Army
Willie, It was a pleasure to meet you on Saturday Nov. 7 at the
physician holiday party. I know everyone enjoyed learning about how
cigars are rolled…and several enjoyed smoking them. Thanks for
everything!

I was down in St. Pete Beach about a month ago and
came across your shop. I was pleased at how knowledgeable the gentleman
was about the cigarsand also that he was able to help me pick out the
perfect cigars for me. They were fantastic! I picked up 2 mild Go West,
and 2 mild Brooklyns in the torpedo style and they were by far the best
I have ever had. I wan to see how I can get some more! I am an
instructor for satellite communications for the US Army, working for
General Dynamics, and will be leaving soon for overseas. Please let me
know how I can stock up before I leave.
Thank you, Jeremy

Greetings! I get all your emails. Please keep
me informed & on your email list. I live in Columbus, Ohio and was in
town on July 20th for some house-hunting. I discovered your shop &
yelled at the realtor to “pull over”! I am very impressed with your
product & your shop. Expect me as a regular once I’m in town.
Regards, Mark
Dear Willie: Thanks for your call
today. Look forward to smoking those Daniel A’s in the next week. You’ve
got a lot of fans up here – they’re the best cigars I’ve ever had, and
everyone who has tried them agrees.

Dear House of Cigars friends, c/c Col.
Butter USMC “Capitan Anderson also sends a healthy amount of respect
this morning. Yesterday he asked me for a couple of “Good” cigars in
order to celebrate one of our Lt’s promotion. So, of course, I broke out
the Buttermans!!! Well, he said he couldn’t stay still, but he couldn’t
get up either. He said the first ¾ was awesome, but by the last ¼
the…accumulated effect reduced his brain to jelly! Got a good chuckle
out of that one, Sir!

Dear Nicole & House of
Cigars Crew, Just received another shipment of cigars via SSgt Hill
and the Bastion Cigar Club and I wanted to take the time to send an
email and thank you personally for the FANTASTIC cigars that we all get
from you out here! We all greatly appreciate your fine shop and the
effort, money, and support you provide us! I’m actually getting ready
to retire soon and am looking at jobs down in that area. Hopefully I’ll
get one and be able to come in and thank you personally for all you do!
Thank you again and good smoking!!

Hola Nicole, The Commander and I smoked some of the treats you
sent last night. The NewYoricans were incredible! They were
exceptionally smooth – much more so than we expected for one as strong
as they were. They burned slow and even…even more so than normal – we
both commented on it! Very light on the spi9ce, no significant changes
in attributes as we smoked them down to the nub. And I do mean nub.
Neither one of us put it our until we did nothave enough cigar left to
hold andpuff on at the same time. All said and done it took about an
hour and half to smoke through. Final report…it is now in the Top Five
Favorites list! We will definitely be adding that to the next order.
Talk to you again soon. Long Ashes to Everyone! SSgt Hill USMC

Muchos Gracias
Nicole!!! The package has arrived and there are a lot of very happy
Marines and Sailors out here. It is so great to see y’all in the DuPont
Registry. I showed that off to EVERYBODY. Thank you very much for the
cigars that you sent me. I am really looking forward to trying those
yon-yangs. The Commander is something of an aficionado so I think I will
share that distinct pleasure with him. All the guys out here really
loved the new lighter model that you sent them. Talk to you soon.

Dear House of Cigars, Having a home in Redington Shores,
I’ve visited many little cigar shops over the past twenty years. This
past January, however, I came across your shop and stopped in. You have
a very nice shop and since I always feel obligated to buy a cigar when I
visit small shops, I purchased a Butterman Twister on the advice of your
salesman, despite the high price. The cigar was perhaps the best I’ve
ever had. Thank you for giving me a reason to stop in when I am in
Redington. I will no longer bring cigars from my home humidor when
visiting Florida. Looking forward to seeing you again, sometime this
summer!
Michael J. Menchise Long Island, New York
Hello Nicole, Thank you so much for your cigar help and
suggestions, I would like to get some Butterman, La Loca, and H2
Perfectos. Let me know what you think of this selection and if you have
any other suggestions. Thanks for all your help getting this order
ready. My parents will be in town in a few weeks and will bring my order
to me back in Canada! Wish I was there too!
Daniel
Hello, LQHouse of Cigars! I was in Florida around this time last
year and I stopped by your shop a few time. On my 2nd visit, I ended up
buying a great humidor and an even greater bunch of cigars in it! I
explained how I wasn’t much of a connoisseur, and therefore hesitant on
what to buy, but you were both very helpful and encouraging in my
purchase…and friendly to boot (Thanks for the espresso!) I remember
having some Cubanito Milds, Caciques, and what ended up being my
favorite, the Butterman (awesome) and a few others.
There is only
one problem: I have no more! Luckily, my parents are on their way down
to Florida in early March and I’d like for them to pick some up for me
while they’re there. So, if you think we could set something up to get a
batch of cigars ready for my parents to pick up in March, please let me
know. I still haven’t sent you a picture of myself and my friends
enjoying your fine smokes in blizzards of snow (I’m not even kidding) up
here in Ottawa, Canada. I gotta do that! Thanks for your time!
A
loyal Canuck customer, Daniel Robichaud

Hola from
the snow covered North!!! Thanks for the cigar delivery update…I am glad
the “Fine Smokes” are on the way!

I have been
smoking your cigars for the past 3 years after discovering your old
store in John’s Pass. I love them. I am not a big smoker, maybe two-3
boxes a year. Normally I either stop into buy them in person when I am
visiting my father-in-law in Zephryrhills or I have him pick them up
when he is coming to Ohio to visit us. I need to order some now for
him to pick up. I like the Go West Robustos with the Connecticut wrapper
and also the La jefa Robustos with Connecticut wrapper.

Nicole, et. al., I regret that I will be unable
to avail myself and party of your fine hospitality. I feel honored to be
incorporated in your circle of patrons. I for the moment reside in
Wrightsville Beach, NC, quite literally on the beach, for the Atlantic
Oceanic waves embrace our exposed deck. In my sojourn since St. Pete
Beach, I have yet to encounter the ambiance, expertise, or elegance
equaling the purveyors of one LQ House of Cigars. Nicole, I yielded to
your counseling to age the unique cigars you so generously engineered
for me in my modest humidor and have elected to enjoy these jewels one
month at a time. I savored the virginity of the first smoke not long
past on the deck overlooking the grand Atlantic. I allowed providence to
select the leaves and wrap. It was simply coined by you a Butterman /
Connecticut Shade. Words are inadequate for the senses of taste, smell,
and gratification experienced. Where does one turn for the lexicon of
such succulence? I rather choose not to demean this masterpiece of the
flora tenujred skill of the maestro of Nicotiana tabacum but rather
allow the memory of the experience to endure beyond the mere mechanics
of the smoke. It is but one-tenth of a score of years that I wait to “canoodle”the
cigars “in toto et finitye”.
Graciously in your debt, Donald

Dear Nicole, Please be advised
that I received the cigars in good condition today. I’m smoking a Big
Daddy as I’m typing this email to you…it is SUPER!
Thanks again
for everything! Steven
Thank you Nicole. My travel
buddy Tim is still telling everyone about your shop. It was a great
experience to be able to smoke a cigar indoors…especially when it’s 28
Degrees at home!
Thanks for the Hospitality, Ron
Hola Nicole, The CDR and I would like to place a re-supply order
as he is down to six and I only have 2 left from the cigars the Colonel
brought to Texas. The ones the Col brought were incredible! The perfect
complement to the 50 year old cognac and the 60 year old scotch I got.
But, I will let the Col tell you about that when you see him. Love
Y’all and talk to you again soon. - “Cowboy”

Sir, I'm
not sure you will remember me. I came into your store on Monday the 15
of February 2010. I was in a hurry because my lady friends wanted to get
breakfast before I caught a plane back to Minneapolis. I purchased two
cigars from you to take home. One was titled Brooklyn and another was
called the H2 Perfecto. You were very patient with me and I thank you
for that. I recently quit smoking cigarettes and like to indulge an
occasional cigar. Knowing that I am a novice cigar smoker and you helped
me to select to of your creations. I am emailing you the feedback that I
hope finds you.
Today I had the pleasure of enjoying what was
called the Brooklyn. I have in the past enjoyed fine cigar brands such
as Romeo and Juliet, Onyx, something I believed to be called Red Dot
Cohiba, as well as the Cuban version with a yellow and black band Cohiba
(this one being my favorite) and another Cuban Montecristo. (…or so I
was told…). As I mentioned before the Cuban Cohiba was my favorite...
until now. The cigar I just had purchased from your store was by far
superior to anything I have ever enjoyed. The Brooklyn was delicious in
every way. Please forgive my ignorance in my description but never have
I had a cigar burn as perfectly as yours. It never ran on me and burned
evenly throughout. The flavor of the tobacco was as good as any I have
ever tasted. I just wanted to commend you on what I would call your art
form. I was wondering if you could answer some questions to help me
understand more of what I experience with your cigars. Through out the
cigar I felt a tingling on my lips. Little prickly sensations as if my
lips fell asleep like a foot if you sit on it wrong. Is this the pepper
description you spoke of when we met?
I like to enjoy a glass of
Bourbon while I smoke the cigar. To me it seems like they complement
each other. Is this a common happening, and if so what are some other
activities that could be recommended while enjoying a fine cigar such as
yours? I truly enjoyed your fine creation through out, yet I noticed my
favorite part was toward the end, perhaps the last two and a half inches
of the cigar. That seemed to me to be the best part. Is that a common
thought and if so why?
Again I just wanted to tell you that not
only do you have a fine product but in my opinion you have the finest
product out there. My name Is Jon Rappe, I live in Minneapolis MN and I
look forward to browsing your web sight for my next purchase. I also
look forward to hearing from you and any advice you can offer for
someone who is not knowledgeable in the subject matter but has a desire
to become so.
Thank you for your time and effort. A happy
customer,
Jon Rappe
PS. I would very much like to know
your name. You took the time to sell me two cigars and I recognize
your picture on your business card.
